Supernova: SynBio-Hack-Meck / Science on Stage

Set in the framework of the biannual Karlsruhe Science Festival “EFFEKTE” and the city's 300th anniversary, the science on stage event is held in a pavilion on castle square. Science on stage aims at presenting cutting-edge research and science in general in a theatrical format. KIT-ZAK | Centre for Cultural and General Studies is stageing a play on SynBio in cooperation with Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. On stage, technology assessment expert Christopher Coenen and bio-hacker Rüdiger Trojok will interact with actors from Badisches Staatstheater. The audience will respond to promises and critique of synbio.
