
Call for proposals: European Foundations Award for Responsible Research & Innovation

A number of European Foundations (see below for details) launch the "European Foundations Award for Responsible Research & Innovation" to celebrate excellent responsible research practices. The foundations invite researchers that successfully apply RRI methods to submit their projects. Three projects out of fifteen finalists will be rewarded with a prize of €20,000 each after intensive examination of the design, process and impact of the projects.
Who may apply?
- Universities, research centres, individual researchers, research consortia, civil society organizations and any other type of organization involved in a responsible research practice in Europe
- Research conducted solely by for-profit organizations is not eligible.
- The research is ongoing or has been finalised not earlier than 2013.
The deadline for applications is December 7th 2015. The awards will be offered to the winners at the end of 2016.
The award is being launched by the King Baudouin Foundation (Belgium), “la Caixa” Foundation (Spain), Fondazione Cariplo (Italy), Lundbeck Foundation (Denmark), the Robert Bosch Stiftung (Germany) and the European Foundation Centre Research Forum.
