RRI Toolkit available (beta version)

RRI Toolkit available (beta version)

Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is a novel approach to inclusive governance frameworks for scientific and technological development. The implementation of this approach depends on providing a holistic framework for RRI as well as tools to put RRI in practice to the many stakeholders involved in science and technology and its embedding in society.

After two years of work, the consortium of the RRI Tools project and many external contributors are presenting the "RRI Toolkit" in a beta version. The toolkit

  • introduces a holistic framework for RRI
  • gathers more than 350 resources (tools, best practices,   articles…) useful for applying RRI
  • will contain specific guidelines on how to implement RRI in diverse contexts and
  • is a sustainable effort that will allow the community to contribute with their own resources and have fruitful discussions during the following years.

The consortium now seeks commentary and feedback on the toolkit and will publish a new version in July 2016.

A link to the RRI Toolkit is also available in the "resources" section of the SYNENERGENE website.
