VITA NOVA, Paris

VITA NOVA, Paris

Date:
18/09/2015 - 16:00 to 19/09/2015 - 18:00

VITA NOVA, a Synenergene event (September 18-19, 2015), has been conceived as an artistic, citizens and scientific meeting. It comes with other events: DYIBio colloquium (June 26, 2015), The BOULLIMICS (November 2015 - March 2016), LIFES QUESTIONS (October 2015 - April 2016), until the Life festival (FESTIVAL VIVANT) in June 2016.

The meeting features the works of fifteen or so artists and designers: David Guez, ORLAN, Catherine Nyeki, Carole Collet, Claude Cehes, Mael Le Mée, Sarah Garzoni, Maud LC, Louis Rigaud, Catherine Voison, Golnaz Behrouznia, Marion Orfila, Matthias Schmitt. Virginie Thibaud, actress, contributes also.

VITA NOVA is centered on 2 poles: the interdependences of organisms; and the manufacture of artifacts, as artificial products made by humans. It intends to explore the differences and similarities between the living creativity, the technical creativity and the artistic creativity. Thus playing between possibles and fantasies, each visitor would be engaged to dialogue and thinking.

The Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University is managing the event which is conceived in a “spiral” where stakeholders are involved progressively to achieve a “Life Festival” in June 2016. Partners (social innovation structures, High schools, public and private institutions, NGOs....) are mobilized in a Prospective Committee in order to support the project.
