The workshop "UFZ Energy Days" is organised by the project on "EnergyLandUse – Land Use Aspects of Transforming the Energy System". It aims to provide a platform for discussing challenges and recent progress in research on renewable energies and on the transition towards decarbonisation and bioeconomy.

One of the sessions, held on 22 March 2016, will focus on the "Social implications of synthetic biology in energy production".
