The Netherland's Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu, together with Rathenau Instituut and supported by several Dutsch iGEM teams, organises a stakeholder workshop on "Industriële biotechnologie: hofleverancier voor biobased producten?" (Industrial biotechnology: purveyor of bio-based products?). The workshop, which is to be held in Dutch language, addresses questions related to the bioeconomy and the role of industrial biotechnology and synthetic biology in it. Several iGEM teams from the Netherlands will showcase their synbio projects. Representatives from the fields of business, government, academia as well as from NGOs are invited to participate.
