The NWO-MVI research programme organises a conference on responsible research and innovation (RRI). In line with the priorities of the Netherlands EU Presidency and with the European Commission's policy to promote RRI, the conference aims at sharing experiences and best practices of how to use responsible innovation as a source of innovative research, products and processes.

The programme includes presentations by inspiring speakers such as (among others) Jeroen van den Hoven (Delft University of Technology), Dirk Helbing (ETH Zürich and Delft University of Technology), Ger Baron (City of Amsterdam), Harro van Lente (Maastricht University) and Doris Schroeder (University of Central Lancashire).
