The Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education organises the international workshop on "Opportunities and challenges presented by synthetic biology". The aim of the workshop is to present the possibilities offered by synthetic biology and to discuss emerging ethical concerns and questions of risks. SYNENERGENE will be presented as an example of RRI in synthetic biology in the session on "ethical questions and public engagement".
