Four EU-funded projects dealing with issues of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) will join for a final conference. Whereas SYNENERGENE tries to foster RRI on the field of Synthetic Biology, the projects GREAT, Res‐AGorA, ProGReSS, and Responsibility (Go4 projects) all seek to improve understanding of the emerging concept of RRI on a more general level and to develop approaches, tools and mechanisms to facilitate the uptake of RRI across Europe and beyond.

The conference, to be held in Brussels, will focus on presentations of key results of the projects and on fostering communication among researchers, policy-makers and a broad range of stakeholders.
