CUTEC, the Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club, together with the University of Cambridge Department of Plant Sciences, organise a 'bio hackathon' in the context of the student-run Technology Ventures Conference. It's named 'the UK's first synthetic biology themed hackathon event', which could mean that it takes place for the first time, but also that it is to be continued in the years to come.

Applications for participation can be sent before May 30th, and some scholarships are available to cover the costs of the competition.
