In vitro meat is a new technology field aiming to grow muscle tissue from cell cultures. The project VIF, funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research, aims at assessing the state of research, the opportunities and risks involved in this field, but also at finding out what visions of in vitro meat exist in society.
