Making_Life is a series of three work periods which allows a multidisciplinary group of practitioners to critically, and in an informed manner, engage with the socio-cultural, political and ethical ramifications of synthetic biology. A group of 29 Finnish and international participants (artists, designers, architects, engineers, scientists and Aalto University students) cooperate within the program, which is part of the SYNENERGENE project.

This third work period in May 2015 is an intense production session to create artistic responses and prototypes. It will commence with the opening of an

• exhibition showing first artistic prototypes and artefacts (22-31/05/2015), Lasipalatsi Näyttely, Mannerheimintie 22-24, Helsinki

and offer a

• seminar where we will be talking about our process, work and findings during the project (23/05/2015)
